The Galley Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization within the kitchen (galley). This role supports the culinary team by ensuring all equipment, utensils, and work areas meet strict hygiene standards in a fast-paced cruise environment.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
• Operate dishwashing machines and maintain cleanliness standards
• Dispose of waste and manage garbage segregation as per safety rules
• Assist chefs with basic tasks when required
• Ensure proper handling and storage of kitchen tools and supplies
• Follow hygiene and sanitation standards (HACCP compliance)
• Maintain cleanliness during and after service hours
• Support smooth kitchen operations by keeping work areas organized

👨‍🍳 Skills & Requirements

• Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and sanitation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Team player with good discipline and work ethic
• Willingness to work long hours and flexible shifts
• Prior experience in kitchen/stewarding preferred (freshers can apply in some cases)

• Contract duration: 6–9 months (renewable)
